Sennheiser E604
Hire from £10.40
This is a Sennheiser E604, a robust and unobtrusive dynamic microphone designed primarily for close miking instruments. Its small size and integrated clip make it particularly useful for attaching directly to drum rims, percussion, or brass instruments, providing a clean signal without bulky stands.
The E604 offers a clear, punchy sound, capturing the attack and body of instruments effectively. It handles high sound pressure levels well, which is essential for drums and loud brass, and its cardioid pickup pattern helps to reject off-axis noise, reducing bleed from other instruments on stage. This microphone is a solid choice when you need reliable, consistent sound from individual instruments in a live or studio setting, especially where space is limited or aesthetics are a concern.
When you hire an E604 from us, it comes with the integrated drum clip and a standard XLR cable. If you are unsure whether this is the right microphone for your specific instrument or setup, please get in touch and we can advise on alternatives.
We provide same-day quotes for all equipment hire. Based in Manchester, we offer dry hire from our premises or can deliver equipment directly to your venue. Please note there is a minimum order value of £100 plus VAT for all hires. National delivery is also available for larger orders.
