Samyang AF35-150 F2.8 Sony E Lens
Hire from £84.50
The Samyang AF35-150mm F2.8 is a popular zoom lens designed for Sony E-mount full-frame cameras. It offers a useful focal range from wide-angle to telephoto, making it a strong choice for covering a variety of event scenarios, from capturing wide shots of a venue to tighter portraits or stage action.
With a constant F2.8 aperture throughout its zoom range, this lens performs well in lower light conditions and allows for good subject separation with a pleasing background blur. It's a practical option for those who need flexibility without constantly changing lenses, reducing downtime during a shoot. While it covers a broad range, it maintains a manageable size and weight for handheld work, a consideration for longer events.
You might choose this lens over a set of primes when speed and versatility are paramount, or over a slower zoom when light gathering is important. It provides a good balance of performance and convenience for many event professionals. When you hire this lens, it comes with front and rear caps, and a lens hood.
