This is one of our largest portable TV screens, (the only step up from this in terms of portable TV hire is 100 inch).
In fact, it’s a two person lift, and requires a really substantial stand or platform for it to sit stable on. (Which is included in the price by the way, to make things easy).
How many people at a meeting is an 85 inch screen good for?
The answer depends on several factors:
How detailed the content is.
The more detailed the content is, then closer people will need to be, and therefore the screen will provide for a smaller number of people.
However it’s a key note presentation with relatively large font and a few key sentences per slide, we’ve observed tens if not hundreds of successful meetings and conferences, with between 75 and 100 people watching an 85 inch screen.
How spread out people are.
This is where I would make the case for involving your trusted audiovisual supplier as early in the event planning process as possible. If it’s a seated event,
consider at first just setting up one seat at the start of each row. So that you can quickly you get a sense of how far back the rows will go.
Then sit in the furthest back chair, and ask yourself, if this was someone who’s not got brilliant vision, and if there was a tall person sat in front, would this be tiring to watch?
The nature of the event.
So if you really need to wow, let’s say for example you’re releasing a product, or showing some refined plans, then you may want to treat your clients to an
oversized display, to create a mega impression.
Whereas in the case of an internal routine meeting, it’s more simply a case of “can you see at the back”. And once that is a yes, mission accomplished.
