Lantern Softbox

This Lantern Softbox is designed to spread light evenly across a wide area, making it a practical choice for general illumination at events, conferences, or film sets where a broad, soft light source is needed. It creates a natural, flattering light that minimises harsh shadows.

Unlike traditional softboxes that direct light forward, the lantern design disperses light in all directions, similar to a bare bulb but with a much softer quality. This makes it particularly effective for overhead lighting or as a central fill light in a multi-light setup. It is a good alternative to multiple smaller lights when you need consistent, gentle illumination across a significant space. We supply the Lantern Softbox with its appropriate light fitting, standard power supply unit, and necessary cabling.

Its robust construction ensures reliable performance in various event environments. The light quality is consistent and gentle, suitable for both photography and video applications where a natural look is desired without harsh hotspots. It is straightforward to set up and position, offering a practical solution for quick deployment.
