AKG D12VR

This is the AKG D12VR, a specialist wired dynamic microphone designed primarily for kick drums and other low-frequency instruments. It excels at capturing the punch and warmth that these sources demand, making it a go-to choice for live sound and studio recording.

The D12VR offers a robust build and a tailored frequency response, ensuring your bass instruments cut through the mix with clarity and power. Its integrated active filter system allows for subtle tonal shaping directly on the microphone, providing useful flexibility without needing external processing. When you need a microphone that can handle high sound pressure levels and deliver a rich, defined low end, the D12VR is a strong contender. We supply it with appropriate cabling.

For those looking to achieve a classic, powerful kick drum sound or accurately mic up a bass cabinet, the D12VR provides a reliable and high-quality solution. Its focused design means it performs exceptionally well within its intended applications, often outperforming more general-purpose microphones for these specific tasks.
