Band Mic Hire
Bands, musicians, studios and theatres looking to hire microphones, should take a look at the Hire Shop
Or contact us for specific requirements.
In order to offer the right amount of support to all our clients, there's a £100 + VAT minimum hire per order. So we're most appropriate to help semi pro and professional requests, (as opposed to home audio).
If you're looking to hire multiples of microphones, you've come to the right site.
Lectern Mic Hire
Looking and sounding professional. And feeling confident. The lectern mic is the staple mic of the key -note presentation.
Lectern mics generally sound decent, even when the presenter isn't perhaps as close as they ought to be to it.
So we would refer to them as relatively "forgiving" compared to some other mics. In many day-time meetings and events for example, we can leave a lectern mic un-muted throughout the day, and it can often remain sounding stable with little to no adjustment.
Lapel Mic hire
If you're looking for conference sound hire in the Greater Manchester area, let's see if we can help.
Lapel microphones (aka lav's or lavalier mics), are one of the most popular mics for conferences and events.
They're fairly easy to fit, and allow presenters and panelists to be handsfree.
ST AV offers both budget, and professional lapel mic hire.
On a tighter budget: it's the Sennheiser ME2 mic. It's a cheap but reliable lav mic. In over two decades of working as a sound engineer, I honestly can't think of a time when I picked one up and it didn't just work. It's remarkably reliable for something which looks delicate and is relatively cheap.
In terms of making sure that you can turn presenters and panelists up, load enough, and still sound sweet, then it's the DPA 4080 cardioid lav. A professional, directional lav mic for hire in professional conference, TV, film and higher end productions.
Remember whichever lav mic you choose, you'll require a belt pack transmitter and receiver kit
